 We understand your transportation needs and your fear about whether or not you are going to get home, particularly if you live on St. John. We also understand your need to get back to St. Thomas on time, in order to catch the plane, or for your doctor's appointment, etc. etc. We understand, because we have been on your side. In the early 1990s the owners of Love City Car Ferries, Inc owned and operated LTS Trucking/LTS Waste Management, Inc. At that time, we too depended solely on the car ferries to get us from one island to the next. Like you, we depended on them to keep our business going and to transport us personally to doctor's appointments etc. We saw our car ferry cost double over night; we were taken off the vessels numerous times, we were left behind. Out of that frustration, in an effort to provide more, and with the legacy left to us by the late Captain Victor W. Sewer, we started this company. It is for this very reason, that we do not leave our customers and go on charters. We understand. You can depend on us. Never assume we have left you behind for any other reason than mechanical issues or United States Coast Guard inspections.
