For those going round trip, upon boarding, you will be given a return ticket, once payment is received or confirmed. Please keep this ticket in a secure location and treat as if it is cash. You will need to present this ticket to the cashier for the second leg of your journey. Cashiers are instructed to request payment from anyone who does not have a return ticket.
The cashier cannot confirm whether or not someone who says he has lost a return ticket was actually given one on an earlier journey. Since our tickets never expire that initial incident could have been 2 hours prior or an entire year prior. The journey between St. Thomas and St. John via Pillsbury Sound is too short for this sort of analysis. If you have lost your ticket, please give the office a call prior to boarding. If you have called within office hours and with enough lead time, perhaps we can help you. Otherwise, the cashier on board the vessel can not help in the matter and you will have to pay.
