Maybe the dumbest system ever. No one is even friendly down at the dock in St Thomas!!. To start, it would be easier if folks were friendly. So the idea of going to find the Captain of the ferry when as the website say, "it appears we won't get on" and trying to find someone we don't know what they look like is totally crazy. what it comes down to is you don't have enough car space to have separate lines for reservations and people who roll up to the ferry last minute. Why don't you empower someone to be on the dock after one pays the VIPA toll to simply ask you whether you have a reservation or not. And that person directs you to the line that is appropriate?.

I 100% agree. This is handled terribly and could be so much better. Don’t take reservations if they don’t mean anything!

IF I make the reservation, will there be away to make sure that I get onboard for my scheduled trip?
