 Athniel C. “Addie” OttleyWSTA was the only radio station that my mother played. It was always on... 24/7. Addie's booming voice was a balm. He elevated our spirits in the morning. He soothed us when things were going wrong. For this company in particular, he attempted to negotiate a truce between us and Boyson Inc back in 1998 in order that both companies could get a franchise from the VI Government. At that time, we were the only car ferries in operation. Addie was a good man and he will be missed. To his close friends and families we give our sincerest condolences. We pray that God gives you the wisdom, faith, and strength necessary to continue on. His legacy has paved the way for you. For the rest of us, we will certainly miss his voice, its charismatic tones, its sincerity. But his memory will live on in us and in our Virgin Islands Community. May his soul Rest in Peace.
