Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our team and drive the continued success of Love City Car Ferries Inc. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our ferry operations, including safety, customer service, financial performance, governmental relations, and personnel management. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a vital transportation service within the Caribbean region.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and direction to ensure the safe and efficient operation of ferry services.
• Develop and implement business plans, budgets, and operational strategies to achieve company objectives and financial targets.
• Foster a culture of exceptional customer service, ensuring that passenger satisfaction remains a top priority.
• Oversee the hiring, training, and performance management of staff members, promoting teamwork and a positive work environment.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, suppliers, and local communities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Transportation Management, Logistics Management, or a United States Coast Guard certified Boat Captain.
• Proven track record of leadership and management experience in the transportation or maritime industry.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations, maritime operations, and logistics.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans, analyze financial data, and make sound business decisions.
• Commitment to fostering a culture of safety, diversity, and inclusion within the organization.

Reporting Structure:
The General Manager will report directly to the CEO and the COO of Love City Car Ferries Inc.
