Do I Need a Car Ferry Reservation between St. Thomas and St. John?

We receive many frantic calls from first time riders who are eager to board the vessel, but forgot to make a reservation. Many of you wonder “Do I have to make a reservation to ride the car ferry?” This leaves many of you confused as to whether or not you will still be able to get a ride on the boat.
