There seems to be a bit of confusion regarding the M/V Capt Vic's schedule.  While other companies schedules have changed, for one reason or another, we are still operating our regular tried and true schedule.  Nothing has changed for us.  So if you are coming to St. John to enjoy the Festival or if you have an appointment in St. Thomas, Love City Car Ferries, Inc.'s the M/V Capt Vic will be there to take you where you need to go.  We look forward to seeing you on board.

Love City Car Ferries, Inc. would like to highlight this message from the Virgin Islands Port Authority that no two car ferries can load at the same time at the same port.  Knowing this is important to any customer who desires to catch the M/V Capt. Vic. For clarification as it applies to how this rule affects you, remember the following:

1. Our loading time is  30 minutes before departure time for our 7 am, 8 am, 9 am, 10 am, 11 am, 12 noon, 1 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm, 4 pm, 5 pm and 7 pm trips,
2. Our loading time is 15 minutes before departure time for our 6:15 am, and 6:15 pm trips,
3. If you arrive before Love City's loading time and our vessel, the M/V Capt. Vic, is the only one on the dock, you can load,
4. If you arrive during another company's loading time and they are loading, please wait patiently until it is Love City's time to load,
5. The ideal arrival time is 10 - 15 minutes before departure time,
6. Despite your arrival time, you have the freedom of choice as to whomever you ride and the security personnel at the docks can not insist that you ride one vessel or another, despite whose ticket you have.

If the Love City Car Ferries' M/V Capt. Vic is your car ferry of choice, thank you. However, it is imperative that you let us know of your experiences at the dock, particularly with the security personnel.  

• If you have any issues with the security telling you that you can't ride the M/V Capt. Vic, let us know.  
  

• If they tell you you have to wait for another vessel, let us know.
